Promotional Exams – Best Wishes Watoto

“When I grow up I want to be a teacher and let the light of Jesus shine in my life.” Jeremiah K.

“In Africa, many people die from simple diseases just because there are not enough doctors and nurses. I want to be a doctor so that I can change that.” Says another child.

Through the customised home school program, the children are able to continue with their studies on the road.

They have been doing their promotional exams in the last couple of days and have been examined in Science, Maths, English, literacy among others, which they have done well.IMG_2303 IMG_2322

Sponsor’s Love

“2 years ago, I attended a Watoto concert after which I passed by the sponsorship table and adopted a child. Since then, I have been in touch with her through letters and pictures. Today, I am so happy – I get to see her!!” says Majorine’s Sponsor

A sponsor’s love is a special never ending gift; a love regardless of distance.

Majorine and her Sponsor know what this means. Before the concert they were able to spend time together and connect, a very special experience for both of them. The following day, they met in the morning and the rest of the children on Choir we surprised with an Ice Cream treat.

On this Choir Sumaya, Majorine, Mark and Jeremiah have met their sponsors. In fact, one person who sponsored yesterday said “this is great. I’ve always wanted to do this all my life but not on Television”

Choir 57 Christmas Celebration

The day began with prayer, thanking God for his faithfulness and his love for the Watoto family, thanking him for our partners, hosts, friends and for so many other things. What a lovely moment it was to fellowship together, prayer and sing songs of praise.

Thank you God for loving us, we love you too and we will always make your name famous.

As the day progressed you could see the excitement on the children’s faces. It was like something that we did not know had touched their hearts, the Aunties and Uncles had no idea that the children were planning a total production to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Take a look at what happened.
